This Privacy Policy describes the policies and procedures of Athanasso ("We", "Us", "Our", or "Developer") regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of Your information when You use the AstroLogos: Daily Horoscope mobile application (the "Service", or "App").
✦ Privacy First: AstroLogos performs all astronomical calculations, birth chart mappings, and synastry algorithms entirely locally on your device. We do not maintain any user database or track your personal birth chart on remote servers.
Interpretation and Definitions
The words of which the initial letter is capitalized have meanings defined under the following conditions. The following definitions shall have the same meaning regardless of whether they appear in singular or in plural.
Collecting and Using Your Personal Data
Types of Data Collected
AstroLogos is designed to offer accurate astronomical birth charts, daily horoscopes, tarot guidance, and astrological synastry. To deliver these features, the App processes the following data locally on your device:
- Astrological Profile Data: When setting up your natal chart profile, you may provide your name, birth date, exact birth time, and birth location (coordinates or city name). This data is stored strictly in your device's private local storage (AsyncStorage) and is never transmitted to external analytics or developer servers.
- Compatibility & Synastry Profiles: Any partner profiles, names, or birth dates you enter for relationship compatibility analysis remain stored locally on your device.
- Tarot Readings History: Cards drawn and spread records are processed in-memory and stored locally on your device.
- App Preferences: Language settings (English / Greek) and notification preferences are saved locally on your device.
Permissions Required by the App
To provide its core functionality, AstroLogos may request the following permissions. You have complete control to grant or revoke them at any time via your device settings:
- Notifications: Used exclusively to deliver dynamic daily astrological forecasts, transit alerts (such as Mercury Retrograde entries), and cosmic score summaries scheduled locally on your device.
- Location (Foreground / Approximate): Optional. Used solely to determine geographic latitude and longitude when setting up your birth location for exact Ascendant (Rising sign) degree calculation. Location data is never logged, stored remotely, or tracked in the background.
Third-Party Services and SDKs
We use reputable, industry-standard third-party SDKs to provide in-app monetization and store integration. These third parties handle data strictly in accordance with their respective privacy policies:
- RevenueCat: Used to manage subscriptions and in-app purchases (AstroLogos Pro). RevenueCat processes anonymous app user IDs and Google Play purchase receipt tokens to validate active entitlements. For more information, visit RevenueCat Privacy Policy.
- Google AdMob: Used to serve non-intrusive advertisements in the free tier of the App. AdMob may collect device advertising identifiers (such as Google Advertising ID) and performance metrics to serve ads. - Google Play Store Review: Uses the official Google Play In-App Review API to let users rate the application directly without leaving the app.
Data Storage and Deletion
Because all profile data is stored on-device, you have full ownership and control over your information:
- Reset Profile: You can wipe all profile data, natal chart calculations, and partner records at any time by going to Settings → Reset Profile within the App.
- App Uninstallation: Uninstalling the AstroLogos app immediately and permanently removes all local app data, preferences, and cached readings from your device.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update Our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify You of any changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this Privacy Policy and making the updated version accessible within the App and online.
Children's Privacy
Our Service is not directed to anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
We use commercially reasonable safeguards for any systems we operate. Because much of AstroLogos's data stays on your device, uninstalling the App or clearing its storage removes that local information.
Your Choices
- Revoke permissions anytime in your device settings.
- Opt out of personalized ads via your Google account / device ad settings when AdMob is used.
- Delete local App data by clearing storage or uninstalling.
