This Privacy Policy describes the policies and procedures of Athanasso (referred to as "We", "Us", "Our", or "Developer") regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of Your information when You use the InstaUnfollowers mobile application (the "Service", or "App").

Interpretation and Definitions

The words of which the initial letter is capitalized have meanings defined under the following conditions. The following definitions shall have the same meaning regardless of whether they appear in singular or in plural.

Collecting and Using Your Personal Data

Types of Data Collected

InstaUnfollowers is built with privacy as a core principle. The App uses an in-app WebView to communicate directly with Instagram on your behalf. Your Instagram credentials (username and password) are never accessed, stored, intercepted, or transmitted to our servers — the login process happens entirely within Instagram's own website, just as it would in a regular browser.

The following data is handled by the App:

• Instagram Session Data: The App intercepts API responses from Instagram's internal endpoints (your following/followers lists) to identify users who are not following you back. This data is processed entirely on-device and is never sent to our servers.
• Unfollowers List: The results of each analysis (usernames, display names, and profile picture URLs) are stored locally on your device using AsyncStorage so the list persists between app sessions. This data never leaves your device.
• Whitelist: Accounts you have protected from mass unfollowing are stored locally on your device and are never uploaded to our servers.

However, the App relies on the following third-party services that may collect data:

• Instagram (Meta): The App communicates with Instagram's servers on your behalf via the in-app WebView to load your following/followers lists and perform unfollow actions. All interaction is subject to Instagram's own Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
• Google AdMob: Free users see advertisements powered by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data to serve personalized or non-personalized ads.
• RevenueCat: Used to manage in-app purchase subscriptions and entitlements. RevenueCat may collect your device's anonymous purchase history to validate and restore premium status.
• Usage Data: Anonymous usage data and crash reports may be collected automatically by third-party tools to help us improve the App's performance and stability.

Permissions Required by the App

To provide its functionality, InstaUnfollowers requests the following permissions on your device:

• Internet Access (INTERNET): Required to load Instagram's website within the in-app WebView, to perform follow/unfollow actions, and to load advertisements and manage in-app purchases.
• Vibrate (VIBRATE): Used to provide haptic feedback during interactions within the App.

All analysis results, whitelist data, and user settings are stored locally on your device. This data is never uploaded to our servers.

Instagram Account Security

We take the security of your Instagram account seriously. The App operates exclusively through an in-app WebView, meaning Instagram's login page is loaded directly from Instagram's own servers. We have no access to the credentials you enter. All unfollow actions are performed by the WebView communicating directly with Instagram — your account is never controlled by our backend.

Please be aware that using third-party tools to perform automated actions (such as mass unfollowing) may be subject to Instagram's Terms of Service. We recommend using the App's built-in delay settings to act responsibly and reduce the risk of account restrictions.

Advertising

InstaUnfollowers displays advertisements powered by Google AdMob for free users. AdMob may use device advertising identifiers and collect certain data to serve personalized or non-personalized ads. You can opt out of personalized advertising through your device settings. Premium subscribers enjoy a completely ad-free experience.

Retention of Your Data

Because the Developer (Athanasso) does not collect personal data directly through the InstaUnfollowers app, we do not inherently store personal records. Your unfollowers list, whitelist, and settings reside entirely on your device. Any aggregated anonymous data and crash logs collected via third-party services are retained only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes of monitoring and improving the Service.

Security

We use commercially reasonable safeguards for any systems we operate. Because much of InstaUnfollowers's data stays on your device, uninstalling the App or clearing its storage removes that local information.

Your Choices

• Revoke permissions anytime in your device settings.
• Opt out of personalized ads via your Google account / device ad settings when AdMob is used.
• Delete local App data by clearing storage or uninstalling.
