Types of Data Collected
Video Wallpaper requires certain permissions and integrations to function properly and to provide its core features. The App itself does not independently collect or store personal identifiable information like your name, address, or email.
However, the App relies on third-party services that may collect data:
- Advertising Data: We use Google AdMob to display advertisements within the App. AdMob may collect and use advertising IDs and usage data to provide relevant ads.
- In-App Purchases: We use RevenueCat to manage premium subscriptions and purchases. RevenueCat securely processes transaction histories but does not share your sensitive payment details with us.
- Usage Data: Anonymous usage data and crash reports may be collected automatically by third-party tools to help us improve the App's performance and stability.
Permissions Required by the App
To provide its functionality, Video Wallpaper requests the following permissions on your device:
- Storage & Media Access: Needed to select local video files to use as wallpapers.
- Set Wallpaper: Required to apply the selected video as your device's live wallpaper.
- Camera: Needed only if you choose to record a new video directly within the app to set as wallpaper.
- Notifications: Used for local alerts regarding wallpaper updates or background service status.
- Foreground Service: Required by Android to run the live wallpaper engine smoothly in the background without being aggressively killed by the system.
All video files selected or recorded remain locally on your device and are never uploaded to our servers.
Retention of Your Data
Because the Developer (Athanasso) does not collect personal data directly through the Video Wallpaper app, we do not inherently store personal records. Any aggregated anonymous data and crash logs collected via third-party services are retained only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes of monitoring and improving the Service.

Children's Privacy
Our Service is not directed to anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
We use commercially reasonable safeguards for any systems we operate. Because much of Video Wallpaper's data stays on your device, uninstalling the App or clearing its storage removes that local information.
Your Choices
- Revoke permissions anytime in your device settings.
- Opt out of personalized ads via your Google account / device ad settings when AdMob is used.
- Delete local App data by clearing storage or uninstalling.
